Soul’s Harbour has not had volunteers working with its supper time food program  for two years, due to COVID.  The program will up and running beginning in May and they are looking for volunteers.
Previously we supplied about 4 people once a month for a 3 hour shift.  This program provides a huge service for people in Regina who otherwise have limited access to a solid, nourishing meal.
If you would like to join the St. Mary’s volunteers for this important outreach effort, please contact Nat. Thank you for considering helping Soul’s Harbour and the important work they do.

Church garden Do you still remember our beautiful garden from last year? Please remember to donate seeds, plants and flowers so we can hopefully start planting in mid or late May. For more information, please contact Yvonne in the church office Wednesday through Friday. Thank you!

Vestry met on March 1, 2022 for the February vestry meeting because we were unable to meet because of scheduling conflicts.  This meeting was very fruitful as the vestry members are aware that, because of the pandemic, we have had limited opportunities to gather as a community.  We are beginning to “re-enter” our communal life and worship cautiously optimistic about our future.

Through discussions, the Vestry has identified 4 ministry areas that are critical as we reconnect with each other.  They are as follows:  Youth Ministry/Faith Quest, Stewardship, Hospitality and Discipleship.  All these ministries are equally important within the life of this Christian community, St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Rev. Paula is waiting to hear from all of you, if you feel you can help with any of our ministries.

The Lenten issue of the Grapevine will be available on Palm Sunday April the 10. Many people have told us that they were encouraged and blessed by the stories in the last two issues.
